Job summary

General Motors seeks a Senior Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to design and implement electrical test systems for production lines, including alignment and continuity/functional testing of components. Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating installation, validation, and support of electrical test equipment or manufacturing electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing, diagnostic equipment, and integration into manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end project management for electrical hardware systems, ensuring on‑time delivery, cost alignment, and performance to requirements.

  • Oversee the introduction, commissioning, and validation of new electrical test equipment and system upgrades.
  • Drive issue resolution by partnering with engineering and production teams to remove roadblocks and maintain program timing.

  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.

By combining technical expertise, project leadership, and hands-on problem-solving, you will help ensure our manufacturing facilities are prepared to deliver vehicles that meet GM's highest standards for quality, safety, and performance.**Work Arrangement - Onsite**The successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Tech Center on a full-time basis. This role requires up to 50% domestic and international travel.This position may be filled with a Senior Engineer or Non-Senior Engineer.
