Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking a Senior Technician- Electrical to troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical and mechanical components within our manufacturing facility in Wisconsin. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and gearbox or motor repairs, while ensuring safety and reliability of production lines.

Qualifications

• Requires technical college certification or Journeyman in related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of manufacturing maintenance experience or 3 years of mechanical/electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC drives, PLCs, electrical controls and related troubleshooting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Respond and assist in recovery and repair of factory installed equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components using problem-solving techniques.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, inspections, and basic cleaning and lubrication as per OEM/engineering specs.
• Conduct basic/advanced corrective actions to support safety, quality and equipment reliability.
• Fabricate with shop tools (mills, lathes, drill press, welding, shears, breaks) and maintain equipment.
• Utilize SAP to review work orders, document completion, and manage service records.
• Support training of autonomous maintenance by operators and contribute to TPM/Lean initiatives.
