Meyer Utility Structures is seeking a Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician in Clinton, IL to specialize in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting across plant systems. The role focuses on high voltage repairs, electrical installations, and preventative maintenance for industrial machinery.

Candidates should have 3+ years in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing setting, with preference for Crane, Welding, VFD, PLC experience and ARC Flash training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related electrical maintenance experience (3 Phase 480V and below).
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot and test electrical applications.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Crane, Welding, VFD, and PLC experience highly preferred.
• ARC Flash training/knowledge highly preferred.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Use blueprints, schematics, and test equipment to diagnose electrical and mechanical problems across systems.
• Perform high voltage electrical repairs (controls, relays).
• Install and repair electrical systems and components of industrial machinery following diagrams and specifications.
• Repair computer-controlled equipment and troubleshoot production systems.
• Fabricate and install new equipment; coordinate with contractors as needed.
• Maintain machinery per Preventative Maintenance Program and document services.
