Job summary

Jaros, Baum & Bolles (JB&B) in Boston seeks a Senior Associate to lead the Electrical team, influence strategy, mentor engineers, and grow client relationships. You will drive project delivery, uphold design excellence, and help expand JB&B’s footprint across the region.

You will serve as the technical authority for the Boston electrical practice, guide complex decisions, and lead business development to grow revenue with existing and new clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 10–14 years of electrical engineering experience ideally.
• Proficient in design calculations and software tools such as Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual design efforts, including system criteria and building stack development.
• Guide teams through construction documentation and project completion.
• Manage reviews of shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, site visits, and punch lists.
• Establish and manage project schedules and resource use.
