Job summary
Arconic Corporation in Davenport, IA seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our MTE engineering network and advance reliability across rolling and finishing facilities. You will supervise engineers, own electrical standards, and guide major capital projects with a focus on automation and process improvement.
The role requires extensive experience with AC/DC drive systems, motor maintenance, and control systems, plus a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a heavy manufacturing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- 15 years of electrical engineering experience in metals/heavy manufacturing.
- Experience with AC/DC drive systems, motor applications, control systems, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Arconic-wide Electrical Engineering Network and supervise MTE engineers/technicians.
- Own the Corporate Standards for Electrical Systems and Electrical Safety.
- Provide expertise on control systems related to metals processing (rolling, coiling, leveling, strip conveyance).
- Support or lead electrical engineering for production operation and equipment maintenance at rolling/finishing facilities.
