Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a leader in aerospace and defense, is seeking a senior IVV lead to direct integration, verification, and validation across engineering teams. You will develop IVV plans, manage risks, and ensure traceability to requirements while collaborating with customers during verification events.

The role requires extensive IVV experience, leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, and a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in system integration, verification, and validation within a complex engineering environment.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience with systems development lifecycle and requirements management.
• Typically requires STEM degree with advanced experience; 7–10 years in field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead IVV strategy development, documentation, and execution.
• Coordinate IVV planning across systems engineering, software, hardware, test, quality, and manufacturing.
• Ensure all product requirements are verified and validated against customer expectations.
• Develop IVV plans, processes, procedures, and test cases.
• Oversee integration of system components and resolve related issues.
• Ensure traceability of verification activities to requirements via tools.
• Track IVV progress, risks, and issues; provide status updates to leadership.
• Collaborate with customer representatives during verification events and audits.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IVV teams.
• Champion continuous improvement in IVV methods and tools.
