Job summary

Boardwalk Pipelines, LP is seeking an E&I Specialist in Lexington, MS. The role covers installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic, electrical, and pneumatic systems within a defined area, while supporting compression facility operations and responding to call-outs.

The ideal candidate will have instrument and electrical maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to read P&IDs and electrical diagrams.

Qualifications

• Instrument and Electrical maintenance experience.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and ability to schedule multiple projects; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Physical requirements: lift 50 lbs. for 50 ft, operate valve control wheels, work alone in extreme weather.
• Valid Driver’s license and ability to operate an all-terrain vehicle.
• Strong commitment to personal and team safety.

Responsibilities

• Install instrumentation and electrical components safely.
• Troubleshoot and maintain control systems, instrumentation, and electrical power systems up to 4,160 volts.
• Support gas reciprocating, electric drive, and turbine engines, compressors, and auxiliary equipment.
• Run conduit, pull wire, change motors, maintain lighting and basic motor controls.
• Maintain monitoring devices such as gas/fire detection and vibration, temperature, pressure, and flow equipment.
• Interpret P&IDs, electrical diagrams, and complex drawings; perform preventive maintenance.
