Qualifications

• 2-year craft training program in industrial electricity (or equivalent military experience.
• Capable of exercising independent initiative, judgment, originality, and ingenuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional, legal, and ethical performance in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
• Ensure safety and loss control goals for the plant and colleagues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot high voltage (12.5KV) systems with 120 VDC controls.
• Maintain and troubleshoot 480 VAC distribution systems and 480 VAC motor starter circuits.
• Maintain and troubleshoot 120 VAC and low voltage AC/DC motor control circuits.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and program AC & DC variable frequency drives.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform minor program changes for PLC’s (ladder and function block style).
• Maintain and troubleshoot overhead cranes with static stepless controls and wound rotor motors.
• Inspect and repair plant electronic and instrumentation devices as needed.
• Participate in training and investigations to develop safety measures.
