Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Sr. Electrical Inspector for on-site work on projects including natural gas pipeline or industrial facilities.

The role requires 5+ years as an Electrical Inspector/Technician or journeyman, with at least two years in pipeline or plant environments, and NEC familiarity. You will maintain logs, prepare inspection reports, and coordinate with the Chief Inspector/Resident Engineer.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as Electrical Inspector/Technician or journeyman with at least 2 years in pipeline or plant environments.
• Familiarity with National Electric Code (NEC) guidelines.
• Meets basic qualifications of a Utility Inspector (basic inspector).
• Commitment to safety and reporting safety issues on site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure electrical, communication, and instrumentation installations follow drawings, plans, specs, and contract documents.
• Maintain an inspector's log book and submit inspection reports for on-site work.
• Verify materials meet company requirements and discuss design changes with Chief Inspector/Resident Engineer for approval.
• Promote safety on the job site and promptly report safety issues.
