Job summary

Kimley-Horn’s Dallas office is seeking an Electrical I&C Engineer with 10+ years of experience to advance our Instrumentation and Controls practice in Texas and beyond. You will lead senior-level design efforts, grow client relationships, and mentor a team delivering power generation and natural gas projects.

This role requires PE licensure, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and a willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and meetings.
• Ability to work in a team and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Grow an Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) practice in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX.
• Develop relationships with existing clients and establish new ones.
• Produce quality work with efficiency while growing a team.
• Support power generation and natural gas projects in Texas and nationwide.
• Integrate into national power generation and natural gas practices and build relationships.
• Collaborate with Practice Builders to identify opportunities to grow.
• Work with marketing to expand Kimley-Horn’s brand recognition.
• Learn Kimley-Horn practices with the integration team.
