Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Chester, VA seeks a full-time Electrical Helper to support commercial electricians, perform material handling, and assist with conduit, wiring, and strapping tasks.

Candidates must have 2 years of commercial electrical experience, a HS Diploma/GED, OSHA 10 (or ability to obtain), and pass background/MVR checks. Onsite work with possible travel; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 2 years recent commercial electrical field experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor
• Works from all types of ladders
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
• Travel may be required.
