• Ability to select appropriate methods and materials to perform repairs/rework.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to remove and replace fine pitch components (e.g. TSOP, QFP, SOIC) without damage to PCB or components.
• Ability to perform repair of damaged PCB traces.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 4 years hands-on experience performing PCBS rework and repair using hand soldering and de-soldering tools
• IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-A-620, and IPC-7711/7721Certifications
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Ability to select appropriate methods and materials to perform the repair/rework
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Ability to remove and replace fine pitch components (E.g. TSOP, QFP, SOIC) without damage to the PCB or components
• Ability to perform repair of damaged PCB traces

Nice to Have

• Associate degree or certificate in aviation maintenance, avionics, or a related technical field
• Familiarity with AS9100 standards
• Experience with ERP/MRO software
