Job summary

Insight Global seeks an experienced electrician to repair and install wiring, motors, transformers, generators, lighting, and related equipment. The role requires reading plans, following codes, and supervising apprentices in a commercial construction setting.

The candidate will work with various electrical systems, perform high/low voltage tasks, and ensure safe, compliant operation. Strong communication and teamwork are essential; journeyman license preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires 4–7 years of electrician experience.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Journeyman or Electrician license preferred.
• Must be able to work with a crew and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and both high and low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair and install wiring, motors, transformers, generators, lighting, and other electrical systems.
• Install, repair, and maintain motors, transformers, generators, lights, circuits, and other electrical equipment.
• Operate electrical testing equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions.
• Study plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine requirements and sequence.
• Repair high voltage systems and supervise apprentices.
• Troubleshoot and repair emergency generators and power distribution systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
