Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert Co is seeking a Sr. Field Technician to inspect, test, and maintain electrical power equipment across the United States. The candidate will lead safety briefings, perform high, medium, and low voltage tests, and work closely with customers to ensure optimum equipment functioning.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen due to safety-sensitive position.
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety briefings and mitigate hazards.
• Perform voltage testing of electrical power equipment as a crew leader.
• Troubleshoot and solve equipment problems.
• Prepare and maintain reports on tests, repairs, and maintenance.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Power Factor testing

Experience with Ductor testing

Experience with Megger testing

Knowledge of Circuit Breakers

Knowledge of Transformers

Knowledge of Motors

Education

Bachelors or Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic technology

10+ Years Relevant Industry Experience

NETA I Certified
