Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Senior Field Service Representative to join our team in the Columbia, SC area. This field-based role offers a company car, a guaranteed 40-hour base week, and opportunities for overtime and travel premiums.

You will support customers across the power system lifecycle, lead field service teams on larger projects, and generate service reports while delivering recommendations to improve electrical systems. Eligible for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or higher with 3+ years of experience testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems or 7+ years with trade school.
• Experience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support customers across the power system lifecycle: startup, commissioning support, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergencies.
• Manage small projects independently and lead FSR teams on larger projects.
• Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties.
• Provide recommendations for improved electrical systems.
• Cultivate strong relationships with customers, team members, and partners.
• Mentor less experienced technicians.
• Utilize digital tools for remote work, including laptops, iPads, IR cameras, Google Glasses, MS Teams, and more.
