Job summary

Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Electrical Estimator in Massachusetts to manage estimates from plan review through bid submission for public electrical construction projects ranging from $500K to $25M.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, takeoffs with Bluebeam and McCormick, preparing bid packages, and coordinating with leadership on strategy; strong ownership and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years electrical estimating experience; 10+ years preferred for senior roles
• Experience with public works, municipal or government projects preferred
• Proficiency with estimating software: McCormick, Accubid, ConEst; ability to learn McCormick quickly
• Bluebeam proficiency for plan review and takeoffs

Responsibilities

• Review electrical plans, specs, bid documents to develop estimates
• Perform quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam and McCormick
• Prepare bid packages by analyzing labor, materials, costs
• Own estimates from takeoff through bid submission with multiple bids
• Partner with leadership on bid strategy and pricing
• Estimate public works projects $500K–$25M across schools, municipal facilities, housing, police/fire
• Attend site walks and pre-bid inspections as required
