Job summary

Ace Electric, Inc. is seeking a Mission Critical Electrical Estimator to pursue and execute complex electrical construction projects including hyperscale data centers, mission critical facilities, and large commercial projects.

You will work with operations, preconstruction, vendors, subcontractors, and leadership to develop accurate, competitive estimates that drive project wins. This is a fast-growing role with a people-focused culture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years electrical estimating experience.
• Experience in mission critical / data centers, industrial, and large commercial construction.
• Familiarity with design-build projects and fast-track environments.
• Strong interpretation of drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Perform detailed takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Develop budgets, proposals, bid packages, and scope reviews.
• Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, engineers, and operations teams.
• Participate in preconstruction planning and value engineering efforts.
• Assist with project turnover and support awarded projects.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
• Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners.
• Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems.

Position Overview

As a Mission Critical Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in the pursuit and execution of complex electrical construction projects including:

• Hyperscale Data Centers


• Mission Critical Facilities


• Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities


• Distribution Centers


• Large Commercial Projects

You’ll work closely with operations, preconstruction, project management, vendors, subcontractors, and executive leadership to develop accurate, competitive, and strategic estimates that drive project success.
