Job summary

The HT Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator (Mission Critical) to lead electrical estimates for data center and mission critical projects. You will manage scope development through final bid review, mentor junior estimators, and coordinate with leadership and business development.

This role requires extensive experience in electrical estimating, NEC knowledge, and proficiency with estimating tools. A results-oriented leader will thrive in a high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in electrical conceptual estimating, low voltage estimating, and design/build estimating.
• Working knowledge of National Electrical Code requirements.
• Proficiency with estimating software and construction tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete electrical estimates for mission critical projects, including quotations and subcontracts.
• Interpret drawings and specs across disciplines (civil, structural, architectural, mechanical).
• Lead estimating kickoff and pre-bid reviews with the team.
• Review specs, attend pre-bid meetings and define scope of work.
• Estimate labor, materials, and administrative costs.
• Develop bid packages and align bidders on scope and pricing.
• Collaborate on bid strategy with leadership and BD.
• Mentor estimating talent and contribute to training.
