Job Title: Senior Electrical Estimator – Hyperscale Data Center

Pay Range:up to $185,000 +
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator with a specialization in hyperscale data centers and mission-critical projects. You’ll lead detailed electrical cost estimates for complex data center builds, collaborating closely with engineers, project managers, and procurement teams. Estimation & Analysis: Develop detailed electrical estimates for hyperscale data centers, covering material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project docs to ensure accuracy.
Cost Management: Maintain cost databases, work with vendors to secure competitive pricing, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Risk & Value Engineering: Conduct risk assessments and participate in value engineering discussions to optimize design and costs.
Collaboration: Partner with project managers, engineers, architects, and procurement to align estimates with design and purchasing strategies. Present estimates to stakeholders and clients clearly and effectively.
Industry Expertise: Stay current on data center trends, technologies, and NEC codes. Apply expertise in systems like UPS, switchgear, transformers, and backup power systems to ensure precise estimating.
Project Support: Provide documentation and support during project handover from pre-construction to execution, answering technical queries as needed.
7+ years of electrical estimating experience, including 3+ years focused on hyperscale data centers or large-scale mission-critical facilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
Proficient in Accubid, Bluebeam, and other industry-standard estimating software.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and infrastructure for data centers (UPS, switchgear, transformers, backup power).
Familiarity with NEC codes and data center best practices.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple estimates in a fast-paced environment.
