Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator in Wisconsin to prepare accurate electrical estimates for large-scale projects such as distribution centers, automotive facilities, and data centers. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of heavy industrial estimation experience, with proficiency in Accubid.

You will collaborate with project managers and engineers, read electrical drawings, and ensure bids meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10 years of electrical estimation experience in heavy industrial construction (distribution centers, manufacturing, data centers).
• Experience estimating projects around $50M.
• Proficiency in Accubid software and other estimation tools.
• Strong knowledge of electrical trade scope and bid depository regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings and specifications.
• Strong math and analytical skills; excellent MS Excel abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate drawings and specifications to produce accurate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts.
• Ensure bids comply with bid depository regulations.
• Use Accubid to develop and maintain project cost controls.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather detailed estimate information.
• Review cost discrepancies and variances for management review.
• Participate in bid/proposal meetings, presenting estimates to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry trends, standards, and best practices.
