Job summary

Royal Electric is seeking a Sr. Estimator for Building Group in Sacramento, CA or Dallas, TX. The role focuses on reading plans, developing bids, negotiating budgets, and preparing estimate documentation.

Responsibilities include takeoffs, BOMs, RFQ reviews with vendors and subs, and coordinating bid packages. The successful candidate will mentor Jr. Estimators and ensure on-time bid delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial or residential projects.
• Experience bidding public works and alternative delivery.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and proposals.
• Strong data analysis and bid packaging skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and specs to complete bid checklists.
• Prepare estimate documentation and BOMs.
• Manage RFQs with vendors and subs for scope accuracy.
• Lead bid packages preparation and bid review.
• Handoff to project management after award.
