Job summary

The Premier Group in the Las Vegas area is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to prepare accurate bids for multi-family, commercial, and ground-up projects. You will review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and price materials and labor to support competitive proposals.

Collaborating with project managers, operations teams, vendors, and subcontractors, you will analyze risks, costs, and profitability to ensure bids align with company goals and client requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical estimating experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Experience estimating ground-up commercial, multifamily, residential, industrial, or institutional projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, installation methods, and industry standards.

Job description

Work Environment:

Primarily Office-Based

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, Typical 40–45 hour work week, with additional hours during peak bid periods

Industry:

Experience with multifamily, commercial, residential, or other ground-up construction preferred

What You'll Do

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical estimating experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, installation methods, and industry standards.
• Experience estimating ground-up commercial, multifamily, residential, industrial, or institutional projects.
• Experience with electrical estimating software such as Accubid, McCormick, ConEst, or similar platforms.
• Ability to independently develop accurate estimates, perform takeoffs, solicit subcontractor/vendor pricing, and participate in bid reviews.
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Electrician background.
• Previous field experience in electrical construction.
• Experience with projects ranging from $1M+.
• Accubid experience.
