Job summary

Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join the expanding Preconstruction team in Houston, Texas. The role involves pricing a diverse range of commercial electrical projects and supporting the estimating department's growth.

You will prepare accurate estimates, perform quantity take-offs with Accubid and LiveCount, review drawings and bid documents, and mentor junior estimators. This is a standout opportunity with a financially strong firm and long‑term career progression.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' commercial electrical estimating experience.
• Strong commercial electrical construction background.
• Experience using Accubid (LiveCount highly desirable).

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates and bid proposals.
• Complete quantity take-offs using Accubid and LiveCount.
• Review drawings, specifications and bid documentation.
• Develop labour, material and subcontractor pricing.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and project walkthroughs.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Mentor junior estimators and support continuous improvement within the estimating team.

We're partnering with one of Texas' fastest-growing commercial electrical contractors to recruit a Senior Electrical Estimator to join their expanding Preconstruction team in Houston, Texas.
