Job summary

WaveClear in Minneapolis on-site is seeking an experienced electro-mechanical technician to work with limited supervision on a variety of assignments, including developing test fixtures and documenting results.

The role requires knowledge of GMP and Design Controls, plus the ability to repair PCB assemblies and support CAD efforts. Minimum 5+ years in related roles and a technical degree or equivalent experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in electro-mechanical roles.
• Medical device industry experience preferred.
• Ability to create work instructions and procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop Electro-Mechanical test fixtures and methods.
• Build and test prototypes and document results.
• Assemble systems per assembly procedures and drawings.
• Perform in-process testing and quality checks.
• Perform repairs on PCB assemblies and subassemblies.

Position Responsibilities:

• Work with limited supervision on a variety of assignments.
• Work independently to solve technical problems.
• Develop Electro-Mechanical test fixtures and methods.
• Build and test prototypes and document results.
• Knowledge of GMP and Design Controls.
• Support CAD design efforts as needed.
• Assemble systems per assembly procedures and drawings.
• Perform repairs on PCB assemblies and subassemblies.
• Perform in-process testing and quality checks.
• Perform cleaning and packaging of assemblies.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Medical device industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with electrical CAD software.
• Experience building test fixtures and load boxes.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create work instructions and procedures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Benefits and Compensation:

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $76,000 to $100,000 annually.
