Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Manager to supervise the Electrical Engineering Department in Staunton, VA. Responsibilities include directing design, development, testing, and cost-focused decision making for new and existing products.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electrical preferred), 8+ years of related experience, and 5+ years in leadership. On-site work in Staunton with strong emphasis on safety, process improvement, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
• 8+ years of related engineering experience.
• 5+ years of people supervision/management experience.
• Experience with UL Electrical Standards and Regulations.
• Electrical Modeling and Simulation experience.
• Proficiency with DFMEA, DVP&R and related engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct department activities to design new products and modify existing designs.
• Develop test procedures and production techniques to improve efficiency.
• Forecast department budget and monitor operating costs.
• Communicate feasibility, costs, and customer needs to management and teams.
• Provide guidance on safety policies and ensure compliance.
