Sargent & Lundy is one of the largest and most experienced power industry engineering and consulting firms. We have a unique and exciting opportunity to join our Consulting group in the role of Electrical Engineering Lead for renewable energy projects. We are seeking detail-oriented professionals with solar and battery energy storage electrical engineering design experience.
This position is being added to support the continued growth of the Sargent & Lundy Consulting group, particularly in the renewable energy, battery energy storage, and utility planning / advisory practice areas. Our Consulting group works with clients across the United States and in numerous other countries.
This position will require a great deal of face-to-face interaction with power plant developers and owners, as well as lenders and investors, during the execution of consulting services work for the firm. The work environment in our Consulting group is fast-paced, dynamic, and interesting.
This position in Sargent & Lundy’s Consulting group will require you to be the electrical engineering lead for our owner’s engineer engagements for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects developed by our electric utilities and Independent Power Producers (IPPs) clients.
