Street Legal Industries, LLC. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Consultant to support the Department of Energy Brookhaven National Laboratory at Upton, NY. This on-call, as-needed role provides technical review, advisory support, and guidance on electrical engineering matters across MPO projects.

Minimum qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering and 15+ years of experience, with U.S. citizenship and DOE Q clearance preferred. Compensation is $100–$150 per hour.

Formación

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• U.S. citizenship required for government contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Review electrical design drawings, specs, calculations, and submittals and provide comments to BNL.
• Respond to electrical engineering questions and inquiries for MPO projects.
• Evaluate proposed designs and equipment selections for code compliance and best practices.
• Provide technical consultation to MPO management and project teams.
• Assist in evaluating alternatives and identifying practical engineering solutions for safe, efficient delivery.
• Guide newer BNL electrical engineers on practices, policies, and project delivery methods.
• Share knowledge to help staff understand existing systems and review designs.
