Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and validation of high-voltage power supplies and control electronics for X-ray tubes. You will own hardware from concept through production, mentor teammates, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and quality groups.

The role emphasizes independent problem solving, design verification, and documentation while guiding projects to on-time, safe, and compliant release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related field with 5+ years of relevant design experience.
• Experience bringing electrical products from concept to production release and sustaining support.
• Experience with high-voltage electronics, power electronics, and precision instrumentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design analog, digital, embedded-control, and power-electronic circuits, including high-voltage systems.
• Translate system requirements into electrical design specifications.
• Perform schematic capture, PCB design/layout, and reviews of layouts.
