Job description

SKE has an immediate opening for a Senior Electrical Engineer with at least eight years of experience in industrial electrical design. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, high-energy, and service-oriented. This position is hands-on and requires excellent electrical design skills.

Responsibilities

1. Perform analysis and design of industrial, governmental, educational, and institutional projects; facilitate the design of engineering plans from preliminary through construction phases; review plans and specifications for compliance with industry codes, standards, and guidelines; seal plans.

2. Communicate and coordinate effectively and professionally with clients.

3. Keep projects on track by maintaining schedules and meeting deadlines.

4. Attend project meetings and site visits to monitor progress and ensure installations conform to design specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

• Texas Professional Engineer License required.

• 8+ years of experience in Consulting Engineering, with knowledge of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, governmental, and educational facilities.
