Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6–12 years of professional Electrical Engineering experience.
• Active PE (Professional Engineer) registration required.
• Experience designing electrical power systems for water/wastewater facilities or similar industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater facilities with minimal supervision.
• Develop electrical designs and engineering documentation per project requirements and standards.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop, short-circuit analyses, and other studies.
• Design conduit routing, MCCs, switchgear, and related electrical systems.
• Prepare electrical specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Support field investigations, equipment evaluations, and startup activities.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Apply electrical codes, standards, and best practices throughout the design process.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
