Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a client-site role in Huntsville, AL. The position requires a TS clearance and US citizenship. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with a PE license preferred.

Ten or more years of related experience in design and construction for commercial/government facilities is expected. The role is onsite with opportunities to lead multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required; Top Secret preferred.
• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferable.
• Minimum ten years of related experience in commercial/government office building design and construction; twenty years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a consultant in establishing design standards and criteria for construction projects and provide expert electrical engineering comments.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance during construction.
• Coordinate with client peers, Project Managers, customers and other personnel.
• Utilize MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project tools and AutoCAD for reports and presentations.
• Assist in development of reports, studies and presentations; maintain professionalism and customer focus.
• Multitask across multiple projects; collaborate with architects, engineers and federal agency clients.
