Job summary

PJM Interconnection, LLC in the United States is seeking a Transmission Interconnection Project Manager who will coordinate the interconnection of generation resources and merchant projects within the PJM system. The role is hybrid and involves working with transmission owners, project developers and other stakeholders to plan, schedule and oversee engineering, construction and interconnection activities.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering or experience equivalent
0-5 years of field experience with substation and transmission line construction or generation operations

Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between PJM and stakeholders for new connections to the PJM bulk power system
Develop and coordinate project work plans for generation and transmission system reinforcement projects
Perform project management to establish timelines and monitor milestones from design to interconnection service agreement
Coordinate with PJM divisions to address system reinforcement requirements
Coordinate, develop and issue interconnection studies and agreements for generation and merchant projects
