Job summary

Byrne Dairy located in Village of Liverpool, New York is seeking a candidate to design and develop test stations for RF, Digital, and Analog modules. Responsibilities include integrating and validating hardware and software, and documenting designs for customer reviews.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test stations used to test RF/Digital/Analog/Power modules, subsystems, and systems.
• Include bench‑top manual tests, automated test programs, and sim/stim test systems used in production test solutions.
• Complete design and build of the project.
• Develop and present design documentation for customer and team reviews.
• Integrate and validate hardware and test software.
• Generate costing and proposal data for new business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
• Extensive knowledge of test solution hardware development, cable design, component obsolescence replacement, and system/component test.
• Experience with commercial test equipment such as signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power meters.
• Test automation design and measurement experience or knowledge.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Pro‑E (Creo).
• Familiarity with LabVIEW VI’s.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Desired Skills

• PCB design using tools such as Altium or Zuken.
• Understanding of bottoms‑up design including drawing package structure.
• Experience with design projects.
• Knowledge of software as it applies to test development.

Annual base salary range varies by state: $85,500 to $170,315.
