Applied Materials, Inc. in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to design, modify, and troubleshoot electrical/electronic assemblies for our semiconductor equipment.

You will apply system engineering principles, perform analyses, and generate documentation for product releases. The role requires a Master’s degree and at least 6 years of system design experience, with strong knowledge of control architectures, integration, and testing in the semiconductor industry.

Competenze

• Master's degree required.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a system design engineer.
• Design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications for control systems.
• Design experience with control architecture design with system level knowledge, integration and testing in the semiconductor industry.

• Coordinate the procurement and assembly of electrical or electronic components and equipment, and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve basic technical issues.
• Design or modify electrical engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, drawings, or specifications for control systems.
• Perform basic engineering analysis under direct supervision; use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Perform and generate basic engineering test reports.
• Generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product releases.
• Use engineering processes to troubleshoot and resolve a variety of basic or moderately difficult electrical problems of limited scope
