Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
• Bachelor's level - prefer internship experience
• GPA of 3.0 or above preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop system solution engineering projects within a matrixed managed team that combine process, hardware, software and applications engineering leading to service product solutions for customer evaluation and adoption
• Create the product solution's specifications based on a systems engineering mindset, clearly connection the solution's outcome to solution design and total packaging, including principles of repeatability and reproducibility
• Design, coordinate and perform tests with rigorous data analysis, providing feedback to project team on outcomes and further improvements to achieve product's specifications
• Identify and troubleshoot moderately difficult problems communicated from lab testing or field
• Collaborate with SBU Product Managers and Field Service Organization, with goal of distilling field data and customer feedback on their High Value Problems towards service solutions
• Ensure all new designs of hardware and software meet market requirement specifications and are reliable, safe, user friendly and maintainable by the field
