Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer - Sustenance & Testing to support the lifecycle management, design enhancements, testing, and manufacturing support of complex electronic medical devices. This role will be responsible for sustaining engineering activities including product obsolescence management, manufacturing issue resolution, verification & validation, system integration, and hardware design enhancements.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in electronic hardware design, PCB development, embedded systems, product sustenance, and medical device regulations, along with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in electrical hardware engineering, product sustenance, or electronics product development.

Technical Skills

Strong experience in:

• Embedded hardware development
• PCB design and schematic capture

Hands-on experience with:

• Microprocessors
• Microcontrollers
• Sensors

Experience with communication interfaces:

• I2C
• SPI
• UART
• USB

Experience using:

• OrCAD
• Xpedition

Experience with:

• PCB layout reviews
• DFM/DFA/DFT methodologies
• Gerber generation and release

Testing & Validation

Board-level testing and debugging.

System-level integration and verification.
