CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience to design electrical systems for energy-efficient buildings and complex infrastructure projects. The role requires leading design tasks and collaborating with engineers and consultants to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license, expertise in power distribution and lighting, and experience with renewable energy systems. Hybrid work in Lafayette, CA is available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering Infrastructure Design.
• PE License required.
• Project management experience.
• Interfacing with clients and project teams.
• Construction administration and submittals experience.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution and lighting systems.
• Energy systems experience including renewable energy.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and REVIT and building electrical design.
• Leadership and team collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Design electrical systems, power distribution, lighting and controls for energy-efficient buildings and infrastructure.
• Prepare, read, and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Interact with owners, clients, architects, and contractors to communicate requirements.
• Apply engineering principles to meet project goals and constraints.
• Review contractor submittals to ensure contract conformance.
• Confer with engineers to meet deadlines and coordinate design efforts.
• Research and analyze design requirements, feasibility, and cost implications.
• Specify system components to meet performance goals.
