Job summary

Mendaera, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in San Mateo, California to design and develop hardware that automates surgical interventions. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and substantial experience working with contract manufacturers. Responsibilities include supporting hardware development, managing component failures, and collaborating on product safety.

This position offers a salary range of $175,281 - $180,000 per year, with work hours from 9 AM to 5 PM. Remote work flexibility is available.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or any other related degree.
• Experience with engaging Contract Manufacturers including knowledge of PCB construction and build processes.
• Experience with test procedure development and improving production yields.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and maintain hardware for surgical interventions based on imaging and sensor information.
• Support Manufacturing and In-Field operations by troubleshooting component and system-level failures.
• Generate analog and digital designs supporting microcontroller systems.
