Job summary

RS&H seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Aerospace and Equipment Group. You will lead design of medium- and low-voltage power distribution and standby power systems for aerospace, military, and energy missions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on launch facilities and ground support systems.

You will perform detailed analyses and produce high‑quality diagrams, BOMs, and build‑to‑print documentation for control and monitoring, with emphasis on safety and reliability across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited or equivalent).
• Active PE license required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience with medium- and low-voltage power distribution.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of medium- and low-voltage power distribution and standby power systems.
• Develop building electrical systems including grounding, lighting, detection, and communications.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, arc flash, and conduit sizing analyses.
• Prepare diagrams, schematics, BOMs, and build-to-print docs for control and monitoring.
• Evaluate components for ground support equipment.
