Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking an Electrical Engineer Expert (8-12 yrs) for on-site work in DFW, Texas. The role demands designing, developing, and testing electrical systems for small robots and ground vehicles in alignment with customer requirements.

You will lead complex projects, apply engineering principles, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with management and tech leads. Strong communication and leadership capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in EDA tools.
• Proficient in analog and digital circuit design.
• Leads DFMEA process.
• Proficient in functional safety analysis.
• Good communication and teamwork; some leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for various purposes.
• Tests and determines fabrication methods for test control apparatus and equipment.
• Develops controls, instruments, and systems for new uses.
• Ensures manufacturing and testing conform to specifications and customer requirements.
• Coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment in field installations.
• Uses CAD/engineering software to perform tasks.
• Stays updated on emerging technologies to improve design and testing.
