Job summary

A trusted leader in consulting services is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer in Chicago. You will be responsible for conducting site surveys and inspections of electrical equipment, developing plans for roadway lighting systems, and providing technical support. The ideal candidate has a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of experience in the DOT/Transportation market. This full-time position offers a salary between $130,000 and $160,000 per year, alongside comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical/lighting engineering design serving the DOT/Transportation market.
• Experience with WisDOT, CDOT, IDOT, GDOT and Tollway ITS and lighting designs.
• Ability to local travel 5% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and field inspections of electrical equipment.
• Develop plans, special provisions, pay items and quantities for lighting designs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
