Job summary

Lydian Energy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a fully remote role across the United States. You will lead technical diligence, design optimization, and development engineering for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects, coordinating across internal teams and external partners to progress projects on schedule.

The role requires a strong background in PV/BESS system design, energy modeling, and experience working with EPCs and independent engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in utility-scale PV / BESS design and engineering.
• 5 years minimum total engineering experience in renewable energy or construction.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time.
• Experience with EPC partners and independent engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize PV / BESS layouts in accordance with land characteristics and constraints.
• Perform energy modeling studies to ensure production targets meet financial goals.
• Provide support for permitting, interconnection, environmental, geotechnical, etc.
