Rivian in Irvine, CA is seeking a hands-on hardware engineer for the Special Projects Team to turn ambitious concepts into physical reality on the shop floor. You'll design ground-up hardware for show cars and prototypes, work across mechatronics, wiring, and power electronics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate development while documenting architectures for future projects.

Competenze

• Understanding LV/HV vehicle architecture for circuit and wiring design.
• Ability to design PCBs and integrate their functions into vehicle architectures.
• Collaborate to solve complex problems in unfamiliar systems.
• Experience with mechatronics systems such as powering and actuating motors for testing applications.
• Ability to quickly make tradeoffs and decisions to drive progress.
• Develop software for custom prototypes in this role.
• Strong teamwork and a positive attitude.

Mansioni

• Design ground-up hardware for show cars and early prototypes.
• Flex across mechatronics, LV/HV wiring, and power electronics.
• Program microcontrollers and embedded software to transform static assemblies into functional electromechanical systems.
