Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Shippingport, Pennsylvania seeks an Electrical Senior Engineer for the Power Uprate Project at Beaver Valley. The role requires independent work to meet Vistra objectives and supports gathering and analysis of information for Vistra initiatives or to solve complex problems.

You will develop and maintain effective working relationships with others including external to the company, and lead tasks to ensure safety and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical) required.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant job experience ideal.

Responsibilities

• Identify and perform tasks to meet objectives.
• Lead interpretation and analysis of complex issues.
• Coordinate assigned projects, studies, and initiatives through completion.
• Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Prepare and present reports with recommendations to resolve complex issues.
• Participate in and occasionally lead special projects and committees with external organizations.
