Job summary

NextDecade Corporation in Brownsville, Texas is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to support long‑term operations and maintenance of the Rio Grande LNG facility. The role focuses on medium and low voltage power distribution, electrical protection and coordination, and reliability for critical infrastructure.

You will report to the Sr. Manager of Instrumentation, Controls & Electrical Engineering and collaborate with operations, maintenance, PSM, HSSE, OT and other engineers.

Qualifications

• B.S. in electrical engineering or related field.
• Masters in electrical engineering preferred.
• PE license or eligibility required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide Electrical Systems and Power Distribution Engineering Support for the RGLNG facility.
• Lead protection schemes, load management, and coordination studies.
• Maintain arc flash studies per NFPA 70E and IEEE 1584 standards.
