Job summary

Moffatt & Nichol seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer/Manager for their Tampa, FL office to lead electrical design across ports, marinas, and transportation projects. You will oversee a local team, manage design calculations, and coordinate with PMs and electrical teammates on complex projects.

Occasional travel required to support DoD and NAVFAC initiatives. The role requires a PE license, 10+ years in electrical engineering, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer licensure required; able to obtain in Florida within 6 months.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering with leadership background.
• Travel to Jacksonville area and the Caribbean as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manages, mentors and develops local electrical team.
• Leads design calculations, drawings, and specifications for power distribution, grounding and lighting.
• Oversees submittals, construction observations, and QA/QC processes.
• Supports DoD and NAVFAC project work company-wide.
