Job summary
Lam Research is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer in California to design and develop advanced electrical systems for semiconductor equipment. You will create power distribution solutions, analyze electronics, and perform hands-on testing to validate performance.
The role requires strong PCB and low-voltage design skills, familiarity with CAD tools, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or Master's with 3+ years.
- Hands-on experience in analog & digital circuit design and PCB low-voltage power/control.
- AC/DC power distribution and system integration knowledge.
- Proficiency with CAD tools for circuit design and simulation (PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, AutoCAD, Spice, ADS, HFSS).
- Experience in troubleshooting and validating electrical/electro-mechanical systems in lab environments.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70, NFPA 79, UL 508A and semiconductor standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical systems including power distribution boxes and subsystems.
- Conduct experiments, collect data, analyze results to improve designs.
- Prepare functional specifications and technical presentations for design reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modify components and mentor junior colleagues.
- Perform hands-on testing and validation of electrical/electro-mechanical systems.
