Job summary

Amentum is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer in Englewood, CO. You will participate in planning through final design for highly complex projects under minimal supervision by a Supervising Electrical Engineer.

Responsibilities include initiating and developing calculations, studies and drawings that meet project requirements and codes. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years of experience, strong power system analysis skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and/or

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
At least 7 years of post-graduation electrical engineering experience.
Experience in power system analysis including load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, harmonic, arc flash and relay coordination studies.
Experience with SKM, ETAP or other Power System Analysis software.
Experience with electrical one-line diagrams, schematics and wiring diagrams.
Experience in sizing and specifying electrical equipment.
Strong understanding of power, lighting, control, grounding, lightning protection, communications and security systems.
Proficiency in 2D/3D AutoCAD, Revit and/or MicroStation.
Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills.
U.S. Citizenship; Dual Citizenship may be considered.
Position may require ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Position may require travel.

Responsibilities

Contribute to projects from initial planning through final design for high-complexity work under supervision.
Initiate and develop engineering calculations, studies and drawings to conformance with project requirements and applicable codes.
