Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems to join the Facilities & Engineering group. You will lead electrical planning, design, and commissioning for process utilities and building systems at our state-of-the-art site in North Carolina.

You will work with cross-functional teams, ensure GMP compliance, and drive continuous improvements in reliability and efficiency. Expect 24/7 readiness, regulatory alignment, and travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or higher required.
• 10+ years of engineering experience or 4+ with advanced degrees.
• Experience with cGMP, building codes and electrical codes helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for process, utilities, and building systems.
• Coordinate factory acceptance testing and punch lists with global teams.
• Support commissioning, validation, and start-up activities to GMP standards.
• Provide 24/7 on-call reliability and travel up to 10%.
