Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, Inc. in Eden Prairie, MN seeks a senior Electrical Engineer - Power to lead project management and provide technical leadership for industrial, commercial, and power infrastructure projects.

You will manage design effort, budgets, schedules, client interfaces, and invoicing while ensuring compliance with codes; travel to client sites up to 25% is typical.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in building systems or power systems electrical engineering.
• Strong leadership, project management, and client relationship skills are required.
• Experience using power systems modeling software such as SKM Powertools, ETAP, EasyPower is desired.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing engineering designs and plans for assigned projects.
• Understanding client design intent and translating it into a clear, detailed scope of work.
• Identifying, prioritizing, scheduling, and assigning tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Driving work independently while maintaining budget, managing scope changes, and reporting progress to the Business Unit Manager.
• Overseeing daily project operations, early problem identification, conflict resolution, and team coordination.
• Developing engineering schedules aligned with internal and client requirements.
